Hi, we're Ryan and Tammy Laubscher, and we're so glad you've taken the time to visit us.
Whether you found us through a friend, a Google search, or you're simply exploring churches in the South Peninsula, we hope you'll discover that Overflow Church is more than just a place to attend—it's a family where you can belong, grow, and encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way.
We've had the privilege of serving in ministry together for many years, and our greatest passion is seeing people become fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe the local church should be a place filled with grace, genuine relationships, biblical truth, and the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. Our desire is to help every person discover God's purpose for their life while building a community where people are loved, equipped, and empowered to make a difference.
We also have the joy of serving alongside our family. Our son, Noah, and our daughter, Holly, are a huge part of our lives, and together we love investing in people and seeing families flourish in God's presence.

Situated in the heart of Fish Hoek and serving the wider South Peninsula, we exist to help people know God, find freedom, discover their God-given purpose, and make a lasting difference in their world.
Our name is not simply a brand—it is our prayer and our calling.
We believe that God desires every person to overflow in His Love, His Grace, and His Power. When we experience His love, it naturally overflows into the way we love others. When we understand His grace, we are compelled to extend that same grace to our community. When we are filled with His Spirit, we become empowered to live lives that point people to Jesus. This simple yet powerful vision shapes everything we do as a church.
At Overflow, we are passionate about creating an environment where everyone can belong before they believe, where questions are welcomed, relationships are valued, and lives are transformed through the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Whether you have followed Jesus for many years, are exploring faith for the very first time, or have been away from church for a while, you will find a warm welcome here.
Our Sunday gatherings are designed to inspire faith, celebrate God's goodness, teach the timeless truth of Scripture in practical ways, and create opportunities for people to encounter God's presence. But church for us doesn't end on Sunday. We believe real discipleship happens in authentic relationships. Through our Life Groups, discipleship journey, prayer gatherings, youth ministry, children's ministry, community outreach, and local missions, we seek to build a church where every person is known, valued, equipped, and empowered to serve.
Everything we do is built around one simple mission—to make disciples who make disciples. We believe every believer has been uniquely created by God with gifts, passions, and experiences that can be used to build His Kingdom. Our desire is not simply to fill seats but to raise people who will influence their homes, workplaces, schools, and communities with the love of Christ.
