In 2019, Pastor Ryan and Tammy and family arrived at the then Fullies Church, to take over leading the church from Pastor Kevin O’Donoghue. Pastor Ryan and Tammy immediately started to pray into where God wanted to lead our congregation. It was during the COVID-19 pandemic and in the lockdowns, that God began to speak - not only to Pastor Ryan - but to the leadership of the church, that God was about to do something new amongst us.

 

Pastor Ryan said: “In a dream or vision, I was reminded of the time I was in Zimbabwe at a beautiful place called Victoria Falls. I remember as we arrived, there were people selling these bright yellow raincoats. I actually laughed as I looked up at a sunny blue sky and no clouds in sight. Little did I know, that as we came closer to the falls, we would all be drenched by the spray that the falls made as it hit the water below. All around the falls the grass was greener, there were beautiful flowers, there was life! As I was seeing this, I asked God what this meant?

 

God began to speak to me about the current vision of the church, which was seen as A WELL, where people could come to and be refreshed and restored. God, however, showed me a change that would take place: as the well began to OVERFLOW, it actually began to look like a water fountain.

 

The difference between a well and a fountain or anything that overflows, would be human effort. Yes, the water is a blessing from the Lord, but there would always be the human effort and hard work to satisfy a quench that would always be there. But Jesus is overflow, He is supernatural. Instead of us working in our strength to draw the water out, HE would provide us with living water!”

 

John 7: 37-38

And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

 

God, I believe, wants us to be a church that supernaturally OVERFLOWS in Love, Grace and Power.

 

Our Church name was changed to OVERFLOW CHURCH in February 2023.
